The burned-down home of one of Rio’s most famous socialites and cultural patrons, Laurinda Santos Lobo, was resurrected into a park with wonderful city views. But it’s quite a view on its own.

  1. Love! I wish they converted more old historic homes like this. There was a news story here today; The mansion that inspired F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby was torn down today to build multi mini McMansions… So sad.
